***Formally the Gummy Vision blog***

I'm a lady in her 40's who loves her beauty products! No makeup makeup is my game & pretty packaging gets me every time, though I'm willing to forgive that with skincare (but only if the product is effective!).

I'm a Stewardess who prefers quiet spaces and places, but I could talk all beauty all the time! Please enjoy your visit!

Empties: April 2016

Empties: April 2016

I finished a lot of product January through March and purged a lot as well. I think it's probably one of my most successful quarters - as such, it seemed pretty daunting to put it all into a single post. I also thought it would probably be way too much to read, even for an Empties fanatic (like myself ha ha!) so I've opted instead to just leave it at I FINISHED A LOT OF STUFF!!! LOL

But I'm back on the Empties post bandwagon for April! Here we go!

Empties: April 2016

Bio-essence Miracle Water Bio Jelly Makeup Remover - I'm well into my second bottle now. It's my preferred makeup remover, and I'll even use it in the mornings if I feel I need to double cleanse. It's gentle, yet removes everything!

Tatcha Aburatorigami Japanese Beauty Papers (sample) - I used to think these weren't that different from the Boscia ones, but I've somewhat changed my mind because I love their huge size. They are at least twice the size of the Boscia ones, which means I can usually just use one. I'm into another package of these now.

Mario Badescu Facial Spray with Aloe, Herb and Rosewater - This was nice and refreshing, but not anything amazing? This was a deluxe sample but I don't think I'll repurchase.

Yuli Halcyon Cleanser (sample) - This gets rave reviews, but I didn't care for it. It didn't rinse clean and IDK...just something I didn't like about the feel. Won't be purchasing the full size. Maybe if I somehow ended up with another sample (that was more than 2 uses!) I could try it again and see - maybe just getting used to??

Murad Acne Spot Treatment - I thought they had discontinued this, but I've seen it back in stock on Sephora and other sites so I'm really excited because it's my favorite spot treatment. It's a staple product - have been through many tubes.

Benefit Gimme Brow in Medium/Deep (sample) - Love this and I started in on the full size. I'm not using it quite as much lately, only because I decided one of my brows was wonky and got way to pluck happy with the tweezers. Then I decided I needed to attack the other brow because it looked way too different after said attack on the first brow. MISTAKE. Now both brows are terrible and I'm mostly coloring them in with the Hourglass Arch Brow. Here's to at least 6 months of waiting for them to grow back -_-   UGH

Peter Thomas Roth Acne-Clear Invisible Dots - The more I use these the more I think I prefer my other spot treatments. They are nice and quick and you don't need to wait for them to dry - and great if you sleep on your side and need something that will actually stay on your face. But my other spot treatments are more effective. Think I still have a couple more packets to get through?

Deborah Lippmann Cuticle Remover - Staple item.

Biotherm Oil Therapy Body Lotion - Staple item.

Beauty Protector Protect and Detangle - Staple item. I'm well into another bottle, but I think I'm not going to repurchase again until I finish my Rahua Finishing Treatment. I don't like the Rahua as much as the Protect and Detangle, but I've got a jar of it that I'd rather use than purge.

YAY Empties!!! How did you do for April?
